The end of a chapter
Hey,
So we’ve come to the end of another year and we’re all a little bit wiser than a year ago. I’ve learnt so much this year, maybe more so than any other year yet and I’m now looking towards another new chapter of my life.
My English class (Recreating the writer) this semester has been a worth while experience as I have learnt so much about reading and writing. Through my short story I realized that developing my character helps to develop my story and I also learnt the structure of a short story and how to set it out. Through completing my poetry anthology I leant about lots of different types of poems and how to arrange my poems so that they fit the requirements of that certain poem. Through my “Personal Best” piece I learnt a lot about “relaxation” which was what my piece was about. And last of all, through completing my “Family Story” I learnt a lot more about my family history.
Unfortunately, this will be my last blog that I am publishing for a considerable amount of time and it has been fun.
Thanks for reading my entries over the past semester, stay safe and well.
From Jess.
The Aftermath…
Hello again,
So this is my first blog since I went to France and I had a great time! It was a really good experience and I had fun with my friends Tahlie and Jess. Mum had a good time too and we bought heaps of things, only to come back absolutely broke because the Euro (Europe’s currency) is double our Australian dollar, but it was all worth it.
We did home stay there for three days and that gave us all a good idea of how French people live.
I bought some French perfume (called “Island of Love”, I only bought it for the name!) and a French hand bag with the Eiffel Tower on it (it is very sexy!) and I ate French ice cream and had French hot chocolates and croissants, I also ate one snail and that was gross (only because of the thought of eating a garden snail) and we also had French Mc Donalds!
Oh, my friend Tahl went up to the very top of the Eiffel Tower, but I was too scared to
I really enjoyed our trip and hope to go and live in France in the very near future

Viva la France!
Hello audience,
On the 17th of September I am going to France with my French class. It’s going to be really fun and a great experience for all of us.
My mum is coming too and I plan to eat crème brulê! But to get there we have to spend 22hrs on the plane. We will get to swim in the Mediterranean Sea and go up the Eiffel Tower.
I’m really excited and can’t wait, I still haven’t fully packed but I will hopefully finish off before we board the plane!
